Designer’s Office

From basement to beautiful.

Although it had a prime location in a chic San Francisco neighborhood, this “office” was really just a storefront with a rabbit warren of back rooms that felt more like a basement. But our client was a graphic designer who needed an inspiring, bright, open office. How to get from point A to point B? That’s where we came in.
In addition to opening up walls and adding windows, we solved sloping basement floors by creating distinct levels, concealing unsightly pipes with a slat ceiling that is as attractive as it is functional. In fact, we liked the slat ceiling so much that we extended it into the main work space, inviting people in.
